Almost a year after BX2014, we are delighted that Professor Iris Bohnet will be speaking at a special US Studies Centre event in Sydney.

Professor Bohnet is a world-renowned Harvard researcher on countering gender bias.  Co-sponsored by the Behavioural Insights Group at the Harvard Kennedy School, the event will focus on “What works to close gender gaps in organisations and what are we doing about it?”

Following Professor Bohnet’s presentation, there will be a panel discussion featuring:

  • Graeme Head, NSW Public Service Commissioner
  • Associate Professor Andreas Liebbrandt, Monash University
  • Carol Schwartz AM, Director of Stockland and Director of the Bank of Melbourne

The NSW Behavioural Insights Unit is looking forward to attending what will no doubt be a broad and insightful discussion, bringing perspectives from government, business and academia to talk about this important issue.

The event will take place on Wednesday 27 May at 6.00pm at the University of Sydney and tickets cost $15-$25. For more information and to register for the event, visit the website here.

If you missed Professor Bohnet’s interactive, thought-provoking presentation on gender bias at BX2014, don’t worry - you can check out the video and the accompanying presentation on our website.
