‘Behavioural Insights in NSW: One Year On’ is the next event for the Community of Practice and presents an opportunity to hear about BI interventions that are currently underway in NSW across policy areas such as health, revenue, education, transport and energy.

We will be joined at this event by 3 speakers who will share their experiences of working on BI projects:

  • Shaun Drummond, Executive Director of Operations, Western Sydney Local Health District, will discuss a health trial that has been running at a Western Sydney hospital since August
  • Mark White, Chief Recovery Officer, Office of State Revenue, will discuss the results of the  fines, tax and debts trial
  • Julie Mitchell, General Manager (Treasury Managed Fund), Allianz, will speak about a trial that has been looking at ways to encourage injured workers to return quickly and safely to work.

This will be followed by an interactive session, where you can directly engage with representatives from BI trials. This includes representative from the three trials above, as well as the Cancer Institute NSW, the Office of Environment and Heritage and the Department of Education and Communities. You will be able to ask questions of frontline and policy staff that have been implementing these projects.

Spaces are limited, so get in quickly!
