The Department of Premier and Cabinet is recruiting for a range of positions across the agency through a bulk recruitment process.
While the BI Unit doesn’t have any positions vacant at the moment, we would like to fill current and future vacancies within the team using the talent pool created through this bulk recruitment round.
So if you are interested in a job with the BI unit, please consider submitting an application and don’t forget to indicate your interest in working with us in the cover letter.
The Behavioural Insights Unit in the Department of Premier and Cabinet aims to enhance the lives of the people of NSW by using behavioural insights to improve the effectiveness of public services and policy. It draws on both the behavioural sciences (including psychology and behavioural economics) and rigorous research methodologies, often running randomised controlled trials to determine what works before scaling up.
What we look for in candidates
Experience of working in BI or research management or a background in psychology, economics or another behavioural science is desirable but not essential, so long as you have a genuine enthusiasm for the subject! Core skills we look for are the ability to drive delivery of projects with a strong hands-on component, the ability to work in partnership across organisations and a keen analytical approach.
More info is available on the IworkforNSW website. The following positions are being advertised across DPC
Applications close on 23 July 2016.
